The Sloan Foundation Feature Film Award may be just for you. This $100,000 award in the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television is given to a feature-length narrative script about science or technology.

Join us for the Sloan Info Session Webinar!

Hear from members of the Sloan Awards Committee as well as past winners of the Sloan Feature Film Award, Ginny Mohler (RADIUM GIRLS) and Shawn Snyder (TO DUST), and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Fusion Film Festival Honors Woman of the Year Melina Matsoukas

On March 4th, the Fusion Film Festival honored Melina Matsoukas (UGFTV, 2003) as the Woman of the Year.  Melina is best known as a music video director for artists such as Beyonce, Jay Z, and Rihanna.  She is a two-time Grammy Award winner for Best Music Video for Rihanna "We Found Love" and Beyonce's "Formation."  She has also worked as a commercial director for Nike, Stella McCartney, Coca-Cola, and Target among others.  Melina recently made the transition into television as an Executive Producer and Director on HBO's Insecure, created by and starring Issa Rae.  Check out some of Melina's work below:
