"King Jack" Wins Audience Award at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival

Congratulations to writer/director and NYU alum Felix Thompson for winning the audience award for his narrative feature "King Jack" at the just concluded 2015 Tribeca Film Festival.  "King Jack" is his first feature film and received its world premiere at Tribeca.

The film centers on a single, pivotal weekend in the life of a bullied 15-year-old in a rural town.  Charlie Plummer plays the lead role.

The filmmakers took home $25,000 as well as an original artwork in recognition of this honor.

All the audience award winners were voted on by festival goers, who received ballots as they exited the theaters.
